I know I said in my last posting I would share images from Rocky Mountain National Park. Those are yet to come but I wanted to bid farewell to a friend who left my family last night on the floor in my bedroom. Sadie did not always get all the love she needed but she always had a big smile. She was surrounded with love her final hours with each of my kids spending some special time with her. Our family vet Dr. Bob from Dr's Bob's Veterinarian came to our home and after an examination gave us the sad news. She may or may not make it through the night and we could wake up with her gone in the morning. With my husband out of town the 3 kids and I made the decision to let her pass peacefully. The two younger kids choose to leave the room when the time arrived and my oldest chose to stay. No matter where you were in the house it was still a sad moment. Rest in Peace Sadie.
